Terms and Conditions of Use
1. Preamble
This document establishes the general terms and conditions ("Terms" or "T&C") applicable to the use of the online platform eventsguest.com ("Platform" or "Site"), as well as the conditions for using services for creating and managing digital invitations, attendance confirmations, menus, photo galleries, and other features dedicated to wedding planning ("Services").
By accessing, using, or creating an account on eventsguest.com, the user ("Client" or "User") confirms that they have read, understood, and expressly and unconditionally accepted these Terms and Conditions, along with related policies: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Definitions
- Platform/Site – the domain eventsguest.com, which allows the creation and management of digital invitations, RSVP confirmations, menus, and other wedding elements.
- Provider – the entity that owns and operates the site eventsguest.com and offers the available services.
- Client/User – any natural or legal person who accesses the platform and/or uses the services.
- Services – digital features such as: invitation creation, attendance confirmations, photo galleries, customized menus, guest lists, automated notifications.
- Account – the user's personal space on the platform, protected by a password.
- Digital Invitation – multimedia content (text, images, animations) generated through the platform and distributed electronically.
3. Description of Services
eventsguest.com offers a complete platform for digital wedding planning, including:
- Creating personalized digital invitations (with design, text, images, animations);
- Attendance confirmation system (RSVP) with automated notifications;
- Guest list management and preferences (menu, allergies, children);
- Private photo galleries for guests;
All services are provided in digital format. The Provider is not responsible for physical distribution or printing of materials.
4. Registration and Account
To use the services, the user must create a valid account by providing real and up-to-date data. The user is responsible for the security of their account and all activities carried out under it.
The Provider reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these Terms.
The account will be deactivated if there has been no activity (no login) for 1 year. The user will be informed by email 1 month before the account is deactivated. Once the account is deactivated, the user's data is deleted from the user's point of view and can no longer be accessed. The Provider retains the data for 10 years, the minimum legal period for keeping historical data, after which it is permanently deleted.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The content of the platform (design, code, texts, images, templates) is the exclusive property of the Provider and is protected by copyright legislation.
The user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal purposes, for organizing their own event. Copying, distributing, or commercializing the platform's content is prohibited.
6. User Content
The user is solely responsible for the uploaded content (texts, images, personal data). By uploading, they grant the Provider an unrestricted license to process and display the content for the purpose of providing the services.
Uploading illegal, offensive content, or content that violates copyright or third-party privacy is prohibited.
7. Privacy and Personal Data
The processing of personal data (name, email, phone, guest data) is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Data is used exclusively for providing services and communicating with guests.
The Provider does not sell, rent, or transmit data to third parties, except for authorized processors (e.g., email, SMS services).
8. Payment and Invoicing
Payment is made online through a secure processor. The fiscal invoice is issued electronically and sent via email.
9. Cancellation and Refund
Refund is processed within a maximum of 14 working days, using the same payment method. The process begins with a request sent to: contact@eventsguest.com
10. Limitation of Liability
The Provider is not responsible for:
- delays caused by third-party providers (e.g., email services);
- data loss due to external causes (e.g., cyberattacks);
- content entered by the user.
11. Availability and Maintenance
The platform is available 24/7, except during scheduled maintenance periods. The Provider does not guarantee 100% availability.
12. Modifications to Terms
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be displayed on the site at least 7 days before coming into effect. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the new terms.
13. Termination of Services
The Provider may terminate the provision of services at any time, with 30 days prior notice. User data will be permanently deleted 90 days after termination.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be resolved amicably, and in case of failure, by the competent courts in Romania.
